About the Founder
Dr. Anupama Dubey Moahnty is an accomplished academician and researcher, specializing in Water Resource Management, with 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad.
She is a graduate of Allahabad University, an M.B.A (Business Management) from S.K. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS, Mumbai) an M.Phil and Ph.D. in Water Conservation and Management from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University. She has also completed Post-Doctoral fellowship on Water Conservation and Governance (under salary protection) funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Delhi, India.
Her professional journey includes serving as a faculty member in undergraduate colleges of Delhi University, a Senior Research Analyst for Ministry of Education project titled “Sarva Siksha Abhiyan” at NCERT, Delhi, and actively contributing to academic research and curriculum development. She has authored and edited 10 books, 15 research papers, and contributed chapters in textbooks for undergraduate students. She is a resource person at the Department of Geo-Informatics, Osmania University and Department of Social Sciences, at Bhim Rao Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad. She has authored books on water Management, such as Glimpses of Water Management in India, sustainability through Water Management, Promoting Sustainability through Water Management and Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainable Climate Action and Water Management in Series Advances in Geographical and Environmental Sciences, Springer Singapore and Honkong and Academic Foundation, New Delhi.
She was project Director of Projects funded by ICSSR and Principal Investigator NABARD.She has organized International/National Conference Convener on ‘Water Resources” in 2024,2022 and 2019 in collaboration with IRMA, Anand Gujrat, NRSC,ESRO and NIRDPR, Hyderabad, Srilanka Water resource Forum, Symbiosis University (Deemed to be University) and Tarun Bharat Sang , Alwar Rajathan. She was Program Co-Director of two Faculty Development Programs (FDP) and Capacity Building Programs (CBD) funded by ICSSR, Delhi. Her
academic contributions extend to digital education as well—she has scripted and recorded lectures on Economic Geography and Climatology under the MOOCs Scheme of the Ministry of Education, Government of Telangana, coordinated by Osmania University. Beyond her teaching and research roles, she serves as the Joint Coordinator of the Center for Sustainable Development at IPE and is an active member of various professional bodies across India.
