About the Founder
Dr. Anupama Dubey is an academician and researcher in Water Resource Management, with more than 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Regional Center for Urban and Environmental Studies, Osmania University (MoHUA) on deputation. Her career includes roles as Assistant Professor at Delhi University’s Kirorimal, Dayal Singh, and Bhagat Singh Colleges (2010–2014), Senior Research Analyst at NCERT for the Ministry of Education’s Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, and Faculty at the Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), Hyderabad (2014–2026).
She holds a Geography degree from Allahabad University, an MBA in Business Management from NMIMS Mumbai, and earned her M.Phil and Ph.D. in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University, followed by a Post‑Doctoral Fellowship funded by ICSSR.
Dr. Dubey has authored and edited 10 books, 15 research papers, and numerous textbook chapters. Her notable works include Glimpses of Water Management in India, Promoting Sustainability through Water Management, and Climate Change Adaptation and Sustainable Climate Action, published by Springer and Academic Foundation. She has directed projects funded by ICSSR, NABARD, and the University of North Carolina, USA, and convened international and national conferences in collaboration with IRMA, NRSC‑ISRO, NIRDPR, Symbiosis University, Sri Lanka Water Forum, and Tarun Bharat Sang.
She is the course coordinator of a MOOCs program on Climate Change: Vulnerability and Adaptation, hosted on the SWAYAM portal, Ministry of Education, Government of India. Her academic contributions extend to digital education, scripting and recording MOOCs lectures on Economic Geography and Climatology. She has co‑directed Faculty Development and Capacity Building Programs funded by ICSSR, actively mentors postgraduate students, and serves as Joint Coordinator at the Center for Sustainable Development, IPE. She is also a resource person for Osmania University and Bhim Rao Ambedkar Open University.
Recognized for her contributions, Dr. Mohanty has been felicitated by the Red Cross Society, Osmania University, Telangana Intellectual Forum. She was elected member of National Geographer of India, Advisory Board Member of CEED Asia..
